Digital Leap (“Digital Leap”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a digital agency based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, providing website development, digital marketing, maintenance and AI services. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

- Contact and quote forms: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company, project details, budget and any message you send.
- Job applications: your name, contact details, role of interest, experience, portfolio or profile links and any CV or files you upload.
- Email and calls: information you share when you email, message or speak with us.
- Client projects: information needed to deliver services, such as account access, website content and billing details.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time on site, referring website, browser, device type and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: small files that help the website work, remember preferences and measure performance. See section 6.
3. How we use your information
We use personal data only for clear purposes:
- To respond to enquiries, prepare quotes and communicate about projects.
- To deliver, support and invoice the services you have engaged us for.
- To review job applications and contact candidates.
- To operate, secure and improve our website, including preventing spam and abuse.
- To understand how visitors use our website through analytics.
- To send occasional updates or marketing emails where you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We process personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit a form), to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing our business. Where the law requires consent, you may withdraw it at any time by emailing us. This does not affect processing already carried out.
We aim to comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and related rules. If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we also respect the rights given to you under the GDPR.
5. Sharing your information
We share personal data only when needed, with:
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, form handling, analytics, cloud storage, project management and payment providers. They may only use the data to provide services to us.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.
Some providers may store data outside India. Where this happens, we use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.

7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected: enquiries for up to 24 months, job applications for up to 12 months unless you ask us to keep them longer, and client and billing records for as long as required by tax and accounting laws. After that we delete or anonymise the data.
8. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, strong passwords, regular updates and limited staff access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Withdraw consent or object to certain processing.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity, as provided under Indian law.

10. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our website may link to other websites, such as social networks and profile pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
